Back pain is the leading cause of work disability in Switzerland — and yet, many sufferers receive the same advice for years: physical therapy, topical gels, rest. Well-intentioned, but often insufficient when the pain has already become chronic or has a clear structural cause.
Interventional spine pain therapy is most effective precisely where conservative measures hit their limits. With imaging guidance — CT, ultrasound, or fluoroscopy — pain sources can be localized down to the millimeter. Medications are delivered exactly where they’re needed: to the irritated nerve root, into the inflamed facet joint, into the sacroiliac joint. Or specific structures that transmit pain signals to the brain are selectively deactivated.
The result is a level of precision that pills simply cannot achieve. Many of our patients have been searching for this third option for years.
